The old adage, the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, is appropriate, as Tiffany's dad, Dayle Greene, recently retired from radio with CBS with over 30 years.  He did an interview with his daughter a few months ago about her career and mentoring (listen here).  A third generation graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, (FAMU), Tiffany is no stranger to the HBCU scene.  Most of her life she has either tagged along or been dragged along with her father who is known in the community for introducing young teens to college life at an HBCU.  Every year Dayle Greene would take a bus load of kids to different colleges across the state of Florida, so her love for HBCU's has been engrained in her since she was a child.  And as a child, she was and still is a die hard fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  While at FAMU she called games for the school and took several road trips with the teams.  She contributed her talents by doing print, radio, and broadcasting via video for the school of Journalism.  Her professor at FAMU, Kenneth Jones said, "She's always had a great passion for sports. Not just in terms of wins and losses, but the more intricate stories that goes on in sports."

In an interview with the Tallahassee Democrat, Greene said, "I don't think for a second I've made it. I'm still working to get better. That's how you remain hungry and humble. I've reached another milestone and it's fantastic but I still haven't arrived."  So in other words, there is more to come from Tiffany Greene, stay tuned!
