My husband and I, got up at 5 a.m. Saturday morning ready for our second annual bike race for organ transplants. Well we were a day early, lol. So my husband suggested riding the fabulous Greenline, a flat land bike trail in the city of Memphis. I gladly agreed.

On the Greenline trail, I saw some familiar faces like my mom's neighbor, Berniece Humphreys and her running buddies. There were others walking/running in groups, pairs and alone. Surprisingly it was quite diverse. There were bikers of all ages, men and women of various colors and creeds. There were very expensive bikes and not so expensive ones. The trail is shaded. It is about 7 miles long and has mileage markers and benches. It has a water fountain and an air pump. Moreover, across the street from the air pump you can rent a bike, which is at the corner of Shelby Farms Park near the Correction Center. At the end of our ride we met some members of "Black Men Run" and "Black Girls Run" relaxing near a park bench. Of course, I asked them to take pictures of their jovial spirits. They gladly agreed...Lord E D dum dum... Time to go now. I got to another bike ride tomorrow. I just want to finish, healthy and happy. Bye Now!!!
