Wells Fargo presents $7,500 to the THAP Group

Machelle Maner, Vice President, Community Development for Wells Fargo, presented a check for $7,500 to the newly selected CEO of THAP, Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan, Derrick Blue.  At an induction ceremony held for Derrick Blue at THAP's 5508 Collaborative on 50th Street in Tampa FL, Derrick was pleased to accept the check for a myriad of improvements that the property deserves.  

Derrick Blue webDerrick had been serving as the interim CEO until the board could find a qualified candidate.  The Board of Directors sent out a nation wide hunt for the candidate that best served the overall operations of the many faceted organization. After an exhaustive search, the board came back home to select Derrick Blue as the permanent CEO for the THAP Group.

Wells Fargo‚Äôs Community Development Group and Ms. Maner are focused on the strategic development of public/private partnerships, the identification of programs available to expand lending opportunities for affordable housing and small businesses and identifying community development opportunities.  Machelle covers Southwest Florida (a ten county area).
